These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings and stays at Lush House (“the Property”), located in Barry. By making a booking, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Booking & Payment
1.1 A booking is confirmed once the required deposit or full payment has been received and written confirmation has been issued.
1.2 A non-refundable deposit of £150 is required at the time of booking.
1.3 The remaining balance must be paid no later than 28 days prior to arrival.
1.4 Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking.
2. Cancellations
2.1 Cancellations must be made in writing via email.
2.2 Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
2.3 If cancelled within 14 days of arrival, the full balance may remain payable unless the dates are rebooked.
2.4 We strongly recommend that guests obtain suitable travel insurance.
3. Check-In & Check-Out
3.1 Check-in time: 3pm
3.2 Check-out time: 10am
3.3 Early check-in or late check-out may be available by prior agreement only.
4. Occupancy
4.1 The maximum number of guests permitted is 5 guests.
4.2 Only guests listed on the booking confirmation may stay overnight.
4.3 No parties, events or unauthorised gatherings are permitted.
5. Guest Responsibilities
5.1 Guests must treat the Property with care and respect at all times.
5.2 Any damage, breakages or issues must be reported promptly.
5.3 Guests may be charged for repair, replacement or additional cleaning where necessary.
5.4 The Property is located in a residential area; noise must be kept to a respectful level at all times.
6. Smoking & Pets
6.1 Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the Property.
6.2 Pets are not permitted.
7. Liability
7.1 Guests occupy the Property at their own risk.
7.2 The owners shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury sustained during the stay except where caused by negligence.
7.3 Personal belongings remain the responsibility of the guest.
8. Filming Location Status
Lush House is a private holiday accommodation and operates independently. While the Property was featured in the BBC television series Gavin & Stacey, it is not affiliated with or endorsed by the BBC or the programme’s producers.
9. Right to Refuse or Terminate Stay
We reserve the right to refuse a booking or terminate a stay without refund if:
- House rules are breached
- Maximum occupancy is exceeded
- Illegal or anti-social behaviour occurs
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
